We are a small business specializing in therapeutic miniatures, sandtray resources, sensory items, and handcrafted products. The following information outlines our shipping policies and procedures.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to:

  • United States

  • Canada

  • United Kingdom

We may also ship to additional countries upon request and successful carrier testing. If your country is not currently available at checkout, please contact us at bianca@serendipitysand.shop to discuss shipping options.

Processing Times

Most products listed on our website are in stock and ready to ship.

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days. During periods of high order volume, conferences, holidays, product launches, special events, or unforeseen circumstances, processing times may be extended.

As an active vendor and educator, Serendipity Sand & Play Shop occasionally attends conferences, trainings, and professional events. Processing times may be temporarily extended during these periods, and any significant delays will be communicated on our website and/or social media channels.

If we offer made-to-order, custom, handcrafted, or 3D printed items in the future, those products may require additional processing time. Any extended production timelines will be clearly noted on the product listing.

Shipping Carriers

We utilize a variety of shipping carriers, including USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other available services, depending on destination, package size, cost, and delivery requirements.

The carrier selected at checkout may not always be the carrier ultimately used for shipment if another option provides a more reliable or efficient delivery method.

Customers selecting local pickup will receive notification when their order is ready for pickup.

Shipping Confirmation and Tracking

When available, tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

Please note that tracking updates are controlled by the shipping carrier and may occasionally be delayed.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer, additional shipping charges may be required before the order can be reshipped.

Serendipity Sand & Play Shop is not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect address information provided during checkout.

Lost Packages

If your package is lost in transit, please contact us as soon as possible.

Lost package claims and replacement requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. While we will make every reasonable effort to assist with carrier claims and package recovery, replacement or reimbursement is not guaranteed.

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at bianca@serendipitysand.shop.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the damaged item(s)

  • Photos of the shipping packaging

  • A brief description of the damage

Because many of our products are handmade, handcrafted, or limited-production items, replacement availability may vary. Damage claims and replacement requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

International Orders

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import fees, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their country.

These fees are not included in product prices or shipping charges unless explicitly stated during checkout.

International delivery times may vary due to customs processing, carrier delays, weather conditions, or other circumstances outside of our control.

Subscription Boxes

Mama's Monthly Miniatures subscriptions currently include shipping within the United States.

International subscription options may become available in the future. Availability, pricing, and shipping rates for international subscriptions will be announced separately if offered.

Combined Shipments

Whenever possible, multiple items ordered together will be packaged and shipped together.

Some products, including print-on-demand items such as shirts, bags, or other specialty merchandise fulfilled through third-party partners, may ship separately and may arrive at different times.

Shipping Delays

Delivery dates provided by shipping carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Serendipity Sand & Play Shop is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, weather events, labor disruptions, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.
